Submission Guidelines
To present your research, kindly submit a 2-page manuscript by the submission deadline. Accepted papers will be indexed in scientific databases, and selected papers may be invited for extended publication in dedicated scientific journal special issues.
Extended abstract preparation
- A 2-page abstract to be submitted in IEEE Styles.
- IEEE templates can be found here:
- Please follow the IEEE instructions for templates to structure and format your abstract.
- Please limit the manuscript length to two pages.
- Revised papers must be submitted in a pdf format, along with the source files (Word or Latex).
- Please prepare the following information before submission: Title of paper and short abstract (maximum 150 words); list of keywords; name, affiliation and email of each author.
Abstract submission
- The submission of 2-page ESGCO 2026 papers should be done through the EASYCHAIR conference management system using the following link:
- The final version of the 2-page paper should be submitted before the deadline (TBA), and comply with IEEE formatting standards.

After submission
- Each submitted paper will undergo a peer-review process.
- Accepted 2-page papers will be published in the ESGCO 2026 Conference Proceedings, which will be indexed in IEEE-Xplore and in other Scientific Databases such as Scopus.
- Final submission must be accompanied by a registration to the conference of at least one of the Authors (Registration Inquiries at: esgco2026@unipa.it ).
- The Scientific Committee of ESGCO 2026 will finalize the Conference program and notify the Authors regarding their oral/poster presentation(s).
Presentation Guidelines
Oral Presentations
- 15 Minutes including discussion: 12 minutes presentation and 3 minutes Q&A (Sessions and Topical sessions)
- 12 Minutes including discussion: 10 minutes presentation and 2 minutes Q&A (Session “ESGCO 2026 Challenge”)
- There is not a standard template, you can use your own.
- Please save the presentation in PPTX and PDF formats in a USB drive.
- Please upload the presentation in the room computer before the start of the session.
Poster
- Posters should be a maximum of 100cm high and 60cm wide.
- There is not a standard template, you can use your own (just remind to insert the identification code of your poster, e.g. Px)
- Please bring the printed poster and put it in the stand during the lunch break on Friday 23rd.
Prizes

BEST POSTER AWARD
The best papers will receive a prize from our media partner Entropy: EUR 250 for first place, EUR 150 for second place, and EUR 100 for third place.
